At the European Speech & Debate Academy, we believe that great coaching comes from experience.
Our coaching team brings together accomplished debaters, coaches and adjudicators from across Europe and beyond, with extensive experience in World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) and World Individual Debating & Public Speaking Championship (WIDPSC) competition.
Many of our coaches have competed at World Championships themselves, coached national teams, or achieved Top 10 rankings and other major international results. They understand what it takes to prepare for high-level international competition, not only from a theoretical perspective, but from having experienced the pressure, preparation and standards of the world’s biggest speech and debate tournaments firsthand.

Our goal is not simply to teach students how to debate. We help them become confident speakers, critical thinkers, strategic debaters and capable representatives of their countries on the international stage.

The Academy brings together coaches from different countries, backgrounds and debate communities, creating an international coaching environment that reflects the increasingly global nature of competitive speech and debate.
Whether a student is preparing for their first tournament, aiming to make a national team, or competing at a World Championship, they have access to coaches who understand the journey and know what it takes to reach the highest levels.
